If you’re feeling healthy and looking for energy to see you right the way through the day, try the amaranth porridge, made from a comforting combination of coconut milk, fresh berries, organic seeds, coconut flakes and soya yoghurt. Or for something sweet, try the delectable French Toast made with caramelised brioche and served with whipped ricotta and berry compote, or pancakes and waffles served with lashings of organic agave syrup and caramelised fruit.
All breakfast aficionados will be delighted to read that eggs play a starring role at The View. Order them ‘your way’ – scrambled, poached, fried, whatever you fancy – and they’ll arrive with a perfectly grilled asparagus spear and tomato, and drizzled with oil and parmesan shavings for a salty flavour. Opt for a fluffy omelette served with any fillings you fancy, or for something unabashedly luxurious, the omelette aux truffes, made with Comté cheese and grated black truffle. Try the classic eggs Benedict – two perfectly poached eggs served atop fennel brioche and drenched in Espelette Hollandaise, or the restaurant’s signature Shakshouka – poached free-range eggs served on a bed of onions, peppers, sweet dry chilli, satay spice, cracked coriander, served with a savoury zaatar crisp.
