There are many reasons we turn to aesthetic treatments to improve our sense of wellbeing. For a start, they can dramatically improve how we look – injecting a sense of freshness into our features. Secondly, they deliver an often much-needed boost in self esteem by allowing us to put our best foot forward (so to speak). Thirdly, they can provide genuine health benefits, like cleaner, healthier skin, and finally, it’s just nice to be a little self-indulgent sometimes, and to take some time out to invest in ourselves. Whatever the reason, there’s no doubt that taking 60 minutes out from the stresses of daily life does wonders for the soul.

At our wellness centre, Pure Seven, our ethos revolves around ensuring all guests leave feeling refreshed and revived – giving them an added dose of energy that allows them to bounce from task to task throughout the day. It begins at the spa itself, located overlooking the mythical rock of Es Vedra in the distance and the sparkling Mediterranean below. Then it continues in the first class water circuit, Pure Relax, where strain begins to seep from the body, and the transformation is completed in the treatment room, where one of our world-class therapists administers a range of treatments according to need.

HYDRAFACIAL uses non-surgical, medical technology to achieve instant, lasting results

There are many treatments to choose from at Pure Seven, but one of our most popular is the HydraFacial. A favourite with the international A-list, this particular facial uses non-surgical, medical technology to achieve instant, lasting results. Back in 2017, it was claimed that one HydraFacial was performed every 15 seconds throughout the world, which translates to roughly two million administered globally. That’s a glowing testament for this procedure, one that’s seen it increase in popularity over the preceding two years. Celebrities often cite it as their facial of choice, which is not surprising at all when you consider the results it can achieve in short space of time, without the requirement for any invasive surgery.

What makes the HydraFacial so effective is the fact that the procedure is primarily carried out by a high-spec machine designed specifically for the purpose of pulling debris out of pores, while simultaneously exfoliating and moisturising the skin. It’s essentially a kind of peel that can treat a variety of skin conditions, or it can simply be used to improve the condition, texture and vitality of normal skin. The process itself may not be what some clients are used to when it comes to a laid-back facial experience (the machine spins and whirs), but the procedure is painless and the results speak for themselves. In terms of efficiency, the HydraFacial can’t be beaten.

People turn to the patented HydraFacial to tackle a variety of skin issues – from fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone, texture and vibrancy, hyperpigmentation and congestion to enlarged pores and even advanced signs of ageing. Each treatment is customised to suit the needs of the client, and infused with a HydraFacial super serum made of nourishing ingredients that provide an instant, dewy glow. These are applied using a custom ‘Vortex-Fusion’ tip, which cleanses and exfoliates, before extracting dead skin cells and replenishing with vital nutrients, antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid – all of which are absorbed much more fully with the skin now completely receptive.

Each super serum is infused with the power to tackle particular skin issues. There’s the Brightalive Boost, which minimises appearance of discolouration and brightens skin tone for an instantly gratifying glow; the Growth Factor Boost, which reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to restore skin health and vitality; the Dermabuilder Boost, which minimises signs of ageing and recharges skin with a patented combination of peptides; and the Britenol Boost, which minimises the appearance of dark spots and sun spots for an even complexion. Each goes to work on the deepest layers of skin to provide impressive, lasting results.

A fresh, healthy looking skin right away.

Our guests fall in love with the HydraFacial – especially after frequent use – because it’s been proven to deliver consistent results with little or no downtime, and vitally, no pain, with the feeling of a treatment being described more as a light, facial massage. And whereas many other facials can encourage breakouts with the technique of squeezing or forcing debris out of pores, the HydraFacial technique sucks out and clears away the dirt, which means no residual irritation or peeling – just fresh, healthy looking skin right away.

At Pure Seven, we offer three different durations for the HydraFacial. There’s the 30-minute Signature HydraFacial, which provides rapid, impressive results; the 60-minute Deluxe HydraFacial, which cleanses at that slightly deeper level; and the 90-minute Deluxe HydraFacial, which works at the deepest level while allowing clients to truly switch off and revel in the rejuvenating experience. Indeed, there are many reasons we use treatments to improve our sense of wellbeing, and the HydraFacial ticks every single box.
